The Great Mosque (Friday Mosque) of Aleppo,
founded in c.715 and rebuilt in the 12th century.
The two small domed buildings on the left are fountain pavilions
for ablution, supplied with city running water nowadays.
On the walls of the worship hall are no gold mosaic decorations
unlike Damascus's Great Mosque.
