ダマスクスの市壁の、7つの門のひとつの カッサネ門 (Bab Kassane) 。
聖パウロが 市から逃走する時に使ったという伝説があるので、
いつの時代からか「聖パウロ礼拝堂」に改装されている。
キリスト教の聖堂を アラビア語で「カニｰサ」と言うところからの命名か。
One of the seven city gates of Damascus , Bab Kassane,
has been converted into an oratory, based on a legend
of St. Paul who might have escaped the city through this gate.
