The second materialized 'growing museumf, the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo, 1959, designed by Le Corbusier, assisted in detail design and supervision of construction by three Japanese architects: Kunio Maekawa, Junzo Sakakura, and Takamasa Yoshizaka, who all were once disciples of Le Corbusier in Paris.
