The citadel of Mohenjo-daro
A conjectural reconstruction of the stupa in Mohenjo-daro by A.S.I.
Plan of the Stupa-mound.
Looking toward the stupa in the east from the granaries area in the west.
The Buddhist stupa built in the later period of Kushan dynasty was
surrounded with monks' cells and other buildings in a square shape.
The sunken part in the foreground is the Great Bath, which is considered to have been a ritual place.
