Bharmaur

Wooden ceiling of the Mandapa in the Lakshana Devi Temple at Bharmaur, c.700
Putting corner beams to make a diagonal smaller square,
and repeating it untill closing the top square with a small panel,
even a large ceiling can be completed. This is the wooden version
of the Laternendecke ceiling of the Gümüshkeshen in Turkey.
Here, as the size is small, the number of columns is only four.
